Job Summary

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of equipment, ensuring that all safety protocols are met, and that all equipment is properly maintained and certified. Additionally, the Maintenance Manager must have the ability to track and maintain a fleet of Workover Rigs. The Maintenance Manager reports to the General Manager.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Ensure equipment complies with company policies and governing bodies.
  • Planning, organizing, and coordinating equipment activity.
  • Track and maintain a fleet of Workover Rigs
  • Identify and evaluate trends on any significant equipment breakdowns and develop preventative maintenance programs.
  • Continuous improvement of company equipment downtimes and preventative measure maintenance standards.
  • Repairs and maintenance to equipment.

  • Ensure that all operations are conducted safely, emphasizing management and client’s commitment to safety, at all levels of operations.

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English to the extent that you are able to understand verbal and written instructions as well as give verbal and written instructions in English; and the ability to use simple mathematical calculations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals (addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication) to make job related calculations.

    American Well Service, Inc. is looking to hire experienced HSE Advisor candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn and grow with the company.The HSE Advisor supports the HSE Manager. The primary responsibilities include effectively assisting the HSE portions of operation during rig inspections and incident reviews and coordinating support for management. Additionally, the HSE Advisor works with the field personnel to conduct incident investigations and assists with training programs. HSE Advisor reports to the HSE Manager.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform and conduct site visits with reporting provided to operational leaders to help drive consistent disciplined approach to work practices.
  • Educate and coach operations on the document management system and expectations at all opportunities.
  • Educate and coach American Well Service, Inc hazard management process.
  • Assist in delivering training material to American Well Service, Inc personnel/operations.
  • Conduct onsite rig inspections including follow up reviews to ensure the safety of personnel and proper maintenance of equipment.
  • Conduct incident investigations and provide support to coordinate appropriate corrective actions based upon findings.
  • Work independently and prioritize tasks based on operational needs.
  • Make sound and quick decisions to support all operations while maintaining a continuously safe working environment.
  • Support American Well Service, Inc operations as required, evenings and weekends.
  • Travel to areas of operations to support is required.
  • Assist with employee safety training, including heavy equipment training as needed.
  • Assist HSE Manager and monitor the effectiveness and quality of HSE programs in achieving American Well Service, Inc goals and standards.
  • Assist with orientations for new and existing employees.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with annual training.
